If you're going to add Peter Cushing, why not add Mr. Bean? I mean Rowan Atkinson.

I think Peter Cushing counts . He did his interpretation of the 1st Doctor. I am not sure if cushing was a human inventor who made a time machine. I recall reading that somewhere.

Cushing was not really the First Doctor, just an Earth scientist doctor who invented a Tardis so IMHO he counts as much as Rowan Atkinson, who at least played an unofficial Doctor.

Peter Cushing played the first doctor in the remake of the daleks and the dalek invasion of earth but that doesnt't count anyways paul mcgann is the worst because he starred in the tv movie which was poor but the novels and audios are really cool.

I don't have a worst doctor but if i have to choose which doctor i didn't care for it would have to be paul mcgann though his novels and books are great the TV Movie is poor. The BBC count Paul as a classic doctor on their website.

Of the episodes I've seen, I'd have to go with Colin Baker, although I'm not sure I've even seen episodes containing a few of these folks. I found Colin's character was just too oversimplified ... you could even see it in his wardrobe choice. Technicolor dreamcoat with question marked collar? Cmon ... is that honestly supposed to be mysterious somehow? Thanks for name-tagging him with the international sign of 'mysterious' or we might not have ever guessed he was supposed to be enigmatic. I guess maybe he was targetting a younger audience with his portrayal but it was all such a simple dish with just a dash of Willy Wonka. Even a C- 4th grader could have figured him out in half an hour's time. To me, he was all fiction and no science ... direct opposite of Tom Baker's character. The votes for Hartnell I find difficult to understand. While his was certainly not the most likable doctor, he played a complex character with precision imo, and pioneered the show. If you watch the early episodes and take note of the extremely long uncut scenes, you might better appreciate his skill as an actor.

David Tennant. He hasn't enough solidity to be called "The Doctor".

Agreed, if you are couting all of them, Ten-inch is my least favorite along with Colin Baker who was too overtkly arrogant and violent.

I think the Fifth Doctor is incredibly boring.
