I though it was good. Your opinion?

Again good first time but not very good after that. Some good jokes though.

Another good episode. Not great, but very watchable.

A good improvement on 'Rose' I thought, with some nice ideas although some a bit cliche (the revolving fans for one). I did think that perhaps the aliens were reeled out a bit fast, from the build up in various magazines I initially thought that these monsters would be the ones seen throughout the series, not just in one episode. The idea of Cassandra is good and Zoe Wanamaker voices the character so well. Still a three out of five but very much bordering on four.

This story is of good quality, but... Oh I've forgotten what I was going to say for a moment, na, it'll come flooding back in due course.
Ah yes I remember! It's good but I think it's a little bit sanitised in places and some bits just annoyed me slightly but I can't remember which bits. Zoe Wannamaker was good though!

It seems I'm the only one who really loved this episode. Well, let's start with its grandeur: the Doctor and Rose are 5 billions years in the future and they see the destruction of the Earth. It's a level of events unprecedented in Doctor Who. The 9th Doctor can't save everybody and he can't save the day all alone but someone must die to help him and I prefer this to some other "almighty" Doctors. I also liked the variety of aliens.

I liked this episode. It reminded me of the classic series, with people getting bumped off one by one. I liked seeing all the aliens, especially the tree people. I did not like the way the Doctor so quickly and easily foiled the plot and punished the villain at the end, so I give it 3 out of 5.

Gave it a 3. I know there's alot of contradictions on Doctor Who but this time a character contradicted themselves. Casandra is female but when she was talking to Rose she was reminiscing about when she was a boy.

I think they were trying to say that one of the many operations Cassandra had was a sex-change.

According to this episode's writer, Russell T Davies, Lady Cassandra was born Brian Edward Cobbs, but he underwent 708 cosmetic, genetic and gender manipulation operations.

Davies here after all. On that I can't necessarily be expected to believe everything he says. (I'm going on the cynical assumption that everyone's a politician here by the way.)

I like this episode more than most people give it credit for. I give it a 4.

Now I know why everyone always seemed to be speaking english. (except when in England) Two questions. First: What if someone was singing in another language? It would sound weird if the Tardis translated exactly in english. Second: Has the doctor always been speaking english or was it always being translated?

Well I should think that in some stories where the Doctor is in a different time to the TARDIS, ie 'Day of the Daleks', I think has been speaking English, probably having learnt it as a result of being near humans that speak that language.
