Now let's see, ooh it has to be 'Underworld'. Horrified GaspsOnly joking. It's actually 'Horror of Fang Rock'. Sighs of Relief ;D

I'm going for Image of the Fendahl, with Horror of Fang Rock a close second.

Horror of Fang Rock. One of the best Tom Baker stories.

'Horror of Fang Rock' gets my vote as well, one of the best stories of which, to be honest, I think was a weaker season compared to its predecessors.

I loved Horror of Fang Rock, only partly because I work with historic buildings, including lighthouses, and loved the whole discussion amongst the lighthouse crew about the changing technology. These are the lighthouses in Maryland. Some of them date to the same era as those in the episode. *note* Oh, if you find any typos, do let me know. This is part of what I do. . . I have to say, my seven-year-old spent the entire episode on my lap. She was terrified by the Rutan. Even when I pointed out it was mostly a plastic bag of green jelly, what appeared to be doll's hair, and perhaps some detergent, being dragged backwards down the steps with a torch/flashlight/thing underneath to make it glow. She was still as terrifed by that as by anything Peter Jackson had devised. Anyhow, I've seen The Invisible Enemy tonight. (Rubbing eyes, I note it's really this morning.) So now we know from whence K-9 derived. I groaned at Professor Marius' parting line about him, "I just hope he's TARDIS trained." Gaaah!

In this season, I think that the strongest two stories are the aforementioned 'Horror of Fang Rock' and 'Image of the Fendahl'. Now, I don't want to be picky or anything like that, but I think K-9 could've been left out, in my opinion.

RE: Image of Fendahl. Please note that this is not how pagan Archaeologists behave.
RE: Sunmakers. I've just seen this with my husband, who used to date a BBC actress. It his his opinion that the "subways" sets used in this episode are, in fact, the halls of the BBC itself. (He recognised the flooring, he says.) Also, the roof scenes were most likely shot on the roof of the Beeb itself. Too funny!

RE: Invasion of Time. So. Leela runs off with Anders, the guard in the flooncy shirt and spandex trousers. Let that be a lesson to you gents. Spandex. Spaaaandeeex. lol
K9 Mark II, though? Did they have to? Sheesh.
Does this mean Leela's going to be blown to smithereens in the time war?
Odd that that last blast wiped the Doctor's memory of the whole thing, including his induction.

Because its much easier to keep your secret identity if no-one is close to you. And superman had a girlfriend, or even got married in one of the films.

I liked Sunmakers. Good story about economics and taxation.
