Warriors' Gate.
Just so completely different from anything else.

God, I know it's cliche, but I do love me some City of Death.

It's cliche because it's a good story. Ok, half a story and a lot running around the streets of Paris, but good. The scene that clinches it is the "What a wonderful butler, he's so violent!" scene.

Has to be City Of Death although Keeper Of Traken, Warrior's Gate and Logopolis come close.

logopolis is the best 'death' story of any doctor, its ominous through out all of it

State of Decay.
The Doctor and vampires. Nice touch. Gotta love that one.

Destiny of the Daleks.
Is it just me or were the stories of Key to Time and onwards weaker than than those stories that came before?

I just want to make one point here, I've viewed the polling options and since when did Tom Baker feature in 'K9 and Company'?

That's a good point, jld. I know a lot of people have this thing for K-9, but I saw 'K-9 and Company' recently and it was a little bit...erm... crap? I found the title sequence particular cheesy; it seemed to be trying to convince the viewers that K-9 and SJ were a crime-fighting action duo a la Starsky and Hutch.

K-9 and Company, my score: -5 out of 5.
Yup, it bad...

Oooh, difficult cos I love City of Death, Horns of Nimon (Lalla as the Doctor - brilliant!) and Ribos Operation but I went for Warriors' Gate because I will always be a sucker for surrealism... Especially cheapy TV surrealism.
The novelisation's pretty spanky too!
