It seems that everyone likes the 4th Doctor and i was wondering what was your favorite story before the key to time. There will be another poll for your favorite 4th Doctor story along shortly.

The Talons Of Weng-Chiang Very stmospheric, with hints of Sherlock Holmes and Jack The Ripper about it. I also thought that Henry Gordon Jago and Professor Litefoot made a great double act. (I'm sure there were talks at the time about them having their own series, but it never came to be). Shame the giant rat let it down, though!

Fendahl. Emotional vote, it was my first. I had no FRIGGIN' idea what I was watching, just that my parents told me that when my dad was stationed in England before I was born they watched Doctor Who occasionally and thought I might like it. I had just moved to Phoenix, was staying at my grandparents' house while our new house was being built, it was summer so I had no new friends from school yet, I was, like, 10 or so. Man, oh man, was that something to see.

They were all good, such a shame that after the Key To Time season they weren't.

I like most of the forth Doctor stories and i loved most of his companions (especially Leela, Sarah Jane, K9 and Romana 2) if i had to choose a favorite i would choose Genesis of the Daleks.
Although i do hold the stories: Pyramids of Mars, The Face of Evil, Robot's of Death, Horror of Fang Rock, The Invasion of Time and Logopolis at high regard.

I like my Lovecraftian horror, and that makes Horror of Fang Rock my favourite of those listed.

I'm a Lovecraft fan too, eryx, and I can see his influence in a good few of Tom Baker's stories; The Hand Of Fear, Image Of The Fendahl, Pyramids Of Mars, etc

I choose the deadly assassin because I felt it was an interesting story in several ways including for the first time the lack of assistant. I also liked this incarnation of the master, very creepy.

As of 15/08/2006 I can't seem to find part two of this poll. Has it been moved or deleted? Wait, found it using the search function.Oh, lost it again!
