Death On The Rocks: Season 2, Episode 10. The rocks in the episode title is in reference to diamonds and people have unfortunately died from them. Overall not a bad episode and it was not a bad situation which saw Steed and Cathy pretending to be husband and wife.

Traitor In Zebra: Season 2, Episode 11. Guest stars Noel Coleman, William Gaunt and June Murphy. Not a bad episode about the jamming of a new satellite tracking system every time it gets used. William Gaunt does well with his character. Too bad what happens to his character here.

Mrs Emma Peel will finally return to The Avengers for Big Finish: scifibulletin.com/2015/03/19/mrs-peel-joins-steed-at-big-finish/As all of the Mrs Peel TV episodes are in existence, the previous Big Finish Avengers releases having been remakes of the lost TV episodes, the Mrs Peel releases for Big Finish will instead be based on comic strips published in 1966 and 1967. Diana Rigg will not reprise Emma Peel for Big Finish as a new actor for the character is sought instead.

Death Dispatch: Season 2, Episode 13. Guest stars Gerald Harper in the first of three appearances in the series all as different characters. Subsequent to this episode Harper played the title character in Adam Adamant Lives! which was co-developed by The Avengers creator Sydney Newman. Steed and Cathy investigate the murder of a British courier in Jamaica. A very fun episode with Steed and Cathy’s investigation including Cathy in her bra and Cathy as a maid pretending she does not speak English to one of the villains before this led them to the politician who was behind this situation that led to the courier’s murder.

Dead on Course: Season 2, Episode 14. Third and final appearance by Jon Rollason as Dr Martin King. Steed and Dr King investigates a suspicious plane crash and it does not seem to be a coincidence that happened to crashed nearby a convent. Not bad episode although it felt a little rushed at the end.

Intercrime: Season 2, Episode 15. Written by Terrance Dicks and Malcolm Hulke. Bettine Milne as Prison Officer Sharpe in her uniform made me think of The Freak, the prison governor in Wentworth. I don’t watch Wentworth but I do love the woman who plays The Freak, Pamela Rabe. The episode is about an international crime syndicate, hence the episode’s name. Fascinating with Cathy infiltrating Intercrime by impersonating Hilda Stern. Hilda Stern is well played by Julia Arnall and like the eventual showdown between her and Cathy.

Immortal Clay: Season 2, Episode 16. While the clay was immortal not so with some people who got killed here. Not bad storyline about unbreakable ceramic, Steve Plytas pretty good as villain De Groot and a little diverting about the pretty girl.

Box of Tricks: Season 2, Episode 17. This episode pairs Steed with Venus Smith although it was originally scripted to Cathy here as well. Not so bad but not so great episode involving a magician’s act with that of state secrets and Venus Smith being one of the magician’s assistant. Coincidentally the upcoming Doctor Who season 39 opener is called The Magician’s Apprentice.

Warlock: Season 2, Episode 18. Guest stars Peter Arne as the episode title warlock and he was quite good at it. Interesting study into the occult here but the resolution seemed somewhat incoherent.
