I'm torn between Spearhead from Space, The Daemons, and The Three Doctors, but I've voted for Spearhead, mainly because it was the first Pertwee story that I purchased and I watched it over and over till I wore the tape out.
Sheer bliss!

I would say my favorite is the Green Death. The BOSS was perfect. Nuff said.

I have a hard time with most of Petwee stories. He's probably my less favorite Doctor.
There are however a few nice picks, such as The Daemons and The Curse of Peladon.

I'm getting the chance to go through all of the Pertwee stories as they're posted for captioning, and rediscovering them all over again My personal favorite is Time Monster. Sure, the plot can be mindless and its a stretch at times, but you've got the UNIT family and the Master altogether, and the wonderful "daisy" speech.

I have "The Three Doctors" on DVD! As was the intention, I think it was a brilliant story for the 10th Year anniversary of the show!
The Audio commentry by 'Jo", 'Brigader' and company is slightly awkward though.

spearhead from space is probably the best introductory story that any doctor has ever had, next to an unearthly child

Watching Spearhead from Space restored for DVD made me wish the entire series had been filmed instead of videotaped. The lighting, mood and overlook look was far superior to the later 'taped shows. The difference really becomes apparent in the 80's, when the BBC switched to video for outside work as well.

I agree.
There is definitely something better about the look of film as opposed to video.

My Favorite 3 Doc story is Terror of The Autons.
Not only does it introduce Jo Grant (who i thought was much a better character then Liz- Liz was boring) but the Master as well. And makes the Second appearance of the Autons, who in my opinion were much more terrifying in this then Spearhead from Space.

Sorry Neon. Terror Of The Autons Is Badly overrated. Dull, dull, dull. Whaaaaaa!!!! oh well never mind, can't win em all! at least you have an opinion and not afraid to use it. But Terror of the Autons i love it. Not only does it have the very first appearance of the Master but the lovable companion Jo one of my favorite!!!! and the Autons making thier second apperance since Spearhead from Space.
