Good. Now then, what should our demands be? 1. No more Daleks for a couple seasons. 2. No more love interest, or at least tone it down. 3. Explain the Time War. 4. Give us a 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th Doctor 3 part crossover (ok, ok, that one is just for me!) . 5. Increase the length of the season. 6. More non-Earth stories. 7. More alien worlds, space-stations and starships. 8. More creepy stories ala The Empty Child. 9. Apologise for Love & Monsters. 10. Grovel and beg for forgiveness for Love & Monsters. 11. Bring back the other classic villains - The Master, Silurians/Sea Devils, Ice Warriors, Sontarans & Rutons. 12. Bring back the Time Lords. Thats what I would like anyway.

My Demands would be:
1.) No more 1 part stories. 2.) 30 Episodes per season, each on with a duration of 25 minutes. 3.) Return of the Timelords 4.) I become head-writer/script editor (Ok, that's for me.) 5.) RTD relegated to 1 story per season. 6.) Variable story length format, e.g: Season 1: 4,6,4,6,4,6; Season 2: 4,4,4,5,7,6; Season 3: 7,3,4,6,4,6 etc... 7.) Multi Doctor Crossover for the 11th Doctor (featuring the 11th, 10th, 9th and maybe 5th or 8th) 8.) RTD gets fired if he tries to interfere too much with the show 9.) And I get to write the last ever story (Another one for me.)
There, that should do it!

Let's see:
1. Bring back the Time Lords, 2. Tell us about the Time War & the 8th Doctor's regeneration, 3. No family nonsense, 4. Fewer Earth stories, 5. Restructure the episodes, 6. Bring back the Master, 7. Kick out RTD and 8. Let's see more of the TARDIS interior.
I think these demands are quite reasonable ;D

One for me: redesign the cybermen.

Hmm, how about one of the pre-RTD designs, say the design that debuted in 'Earthshock'?
The definitive version in my opinion.

I wonder if Russell T. Davies knows that his changes to the series aren't welcomed by everyone?

I wonder if Russell T. Davies knows that his changes to the series aren't welcomed by everyone? If the series was made to the fan's needs it wouldn't last a single series. The show has to change to appeal to the new audience, that or it fails. Be it for better or worse the world of TV relies on viewing figures to stay afloat, and a fans dream-driven series wouldn't bring in the viewers. The show changes to fit the current climate of TV in general, and to the general public (who make up the majority of the audience) the elements of the show you see as problems, to them are either building blocks for the series to become a success or necessities for television programmes today. OK you might not find the new series perfect, but it's better than nothing in my view.

I thought of something. So, if the content of the stories can't be changed to as the fans want them, I've thought of a compromise: The episode structure and title sequence/music can be changed instead. Also the Timelords must return but that's another story...

Also the Timelords must return but that's another story... Well actually I'd have thought it would be unlikely to change the episode structure, particularly if the series has proven a success with the format it uses now. Although Doctor Who is a science fiction series it is also made and credited as a drama series. There is no other UK drama series that I can think of which uses the episode structuring some fans suggest should be used (aka. the episode structuring that was used in the majority of classic Doctor Who stories). Drama programmes usually consist of a series of one-episode stories, a series of two-parters, or (as the current Doctor Who series does) uses a mixture of the two formats, with most episodes lasting from between forty-five to sixty minutes. No mainstream UK drama programme that comes to mind has thirty odd episodes a series, each at twenty five minutes in duration, and uses the format of four / six or even seven part stories. It's just another sign of the times, television doesn't work like that anymore, and if the show is successful using the format it does now, there's no real need to change it.

Actually, what I meant by episode structure change was have five 2-part stories and a 3-parter at the end. I didn't necessarily mean have them 25-minutes long or such.
