But would you say their making to much? The BBC is only making two; 'Torchwood' and the pilot for 'Sarah Jane Investigates'. I wouldn't have thought it was too much. The K-9 spin-off is going to be made by another production company.

Maybe so, bit I still think ONE is enough. I totally agree! The Sarah-Jane Investigates series seems unneccisary and to be honest I don't see Torchwood lasting more than about 2 series.

The Sarah-jane one is uneccisary some may watch it but really it's going to be like Midsummer murders and we have to many of them already. As for torchwood it can't last more than two or it's going to confuse people about Doomsday where we saw torchwood destroyed. As for K-9 i move that tin dog they should make that cause it's K-9 ;D

It's not as if you have to watch them you know, you all make it sound as if it's mandatory viewing I don't think it's the watching bit that bothers us. It's more of the "they are there and they exist" bit. I think.

I'm opposed to all things that are "cute" or are adored by children below the age of 12. It's called closet grumpiness, but I don't let it interfere with my life. Anyway, I'm just not keen on K9.

There are some of us who think that these spinoffs are a debasement of the show and are heading more towards the childish (except Torchwood, definately not Torchwood!). The majoritory of these people, I think, are fans of the Philip Hinchliffe era of the show, like me. The presence of the other two spin-offs somewhat worries some of us.
The opinions of others may vary.
