Oh my goodness it was yet another poor story. I liked the scooter coming out of the TARDIS.

The wierd thing with this episode is it seemed out of place. There was no mention or aftershock from Mickey's depature (I'm still recovering from it) and the Episode could have easily been placed before School Reunion. My thought is that this Episode was only broadcast where it was to act as a buffer between two two parters.

What has everyone (nearly) got against this episode? Agreed there were faults but minor faults at that. It's original, not the best granted but it's not the worst either, I enjoyed it and thought it was good.

I just thought that it didin't fit very well where it was in the series. I guess it's just the way with Doctor Who that the stories are only loosely linked (eg. by "Bad Wolf" in 2005.) I guess it's a good thing meaning that many stories can be written without contradicting each other.

Reading the comment above it's true you don't want too many bits of long term continuity, it's good to keep the series as original as possible, which is what was seen here in my opinion.

What really dissapoints me is that some people are quick to criticise anything without thinking anything through properly.

I rate this story: Average to good. Doesn't bear constantly repeated viewing.

Am I the only person who missed the atmosphere in this episode? *Shakes head sadly and wanders off*

I didn't like this one at all. I thought the Doctor and Rose acted very strangely and not in a good way. I blame the direction.

Finally I especially liked the bit with the video tape, "Betamax". Was that really a Beta tape? I missed that! lol I personally think that women, e.g. Maureen Lipman, are better at doing creepy and slightly unnerving than men. Hmm. Do you now? Pull up a sofa and I'll get my notepad. I liked the scooter coming out of the TARDIS. So did I. Too funny! The wierd thing with this episode is it seemed out of place. There was no mention or aftershock from Mickey's depature (I'm still recovering from it) and the Episode could have easily been placed before School Reunion. My thought is that this Episode was only broadcast where it was to act as a buffer between two two parters. Very likely. It seemed like a stand-alone. I've yet to see any post-Mickey emotional fallout. "He went home." doesn't exactly cut it, does it? You know, this is going to sound girly, but bear with me. After she got over Mickey's departure, I'd expect Rose and Eccleston's Doctor to, erm, hook up, as it were. I mean, there was clearly a bond there, and the two of them had great chemistry. But Tennant? I don't know. He's cute, I suppose, but . . . There's just a raw sexuality to Eccleston that Tennant just doesn't have. Sorry if I made you go pink.
