First: It wasn't clear to me whether the missing Cousins were found or not. (I skimmed through some parts) Second: Innocet said that Time Lords were born as full grown adults that are like children. Does that mean the first Doctor was born with all that gray hair, or would that happen as he "grew up"? Third and last: Romana gave the Doctor her sonic screwdriver (I remember she made herself one) so that would mean that from the T.V. movie to the present he's actually been using hers. Ok, these are just my opinions... 1. I can't remember. Probably not as I don't remember them showing up at the end. 2. I tend to think that his first body grew old naturally, which is why his body wore out at the end of The Tenth Planet. 3. Sounds like a fair explaination.

If you want to keep continuity with Doctor Who, ignore everything in novels, and short stories, and comics, and also the TV-Movie. Even then it isnt fully consistent, but its better. You have to bear in mind that authors of novels (and those Canadians) DIDNT make Doctor Who, and so don't know everything, or just keep some out so the story can be more interesting.

Actually, the main reason why some of the novels were written was to explain the continuity gaps in the TV series. So, if you look at it from a wider viewpoint it fits in quite well, though holes still exist. As much as I'd like too, I don't disregard certain novels from the overall continuity as I think they keep it together quite well. But in the end it's just personall preference really.

And as a side note, the Sonic Screwdriver the Doctor uses in the TVM is implied to be Romana's by Lungbarrow. Strangely enough, the Seventh Doctor has a Sonic Screwdriver before Lungbarrow - his 'original' reclaimed from the body of the Third Doctor in Blood Heat. And he has a third Sonic Screwdriver that appears in, I believe, The Genocide Machine, before he reclaims his 'original'. So for scorecheckers, when the TVM happens, the Doctor has a) Romana's Sonic Screwdriver, b) an AU version of his original and c) one he made himself. So pick whichever you like from these three to be the one that appears in the TVM. The Romana one is definitely destroyed in The Bodysnatchers. Another one is destroyed in Smith and Jones. The Doctor implies there that he can 'grow' another one, but, you know? If he can, why didn't he during his Sixth body? Or in his Fifth? Nah, I just think he came up with the word and was being capricious with Martha. I think his current Sonic Screwdriver is either the one from Blood Heat or Genocide Machine or whatever audio it is where it appears. Phew! -Jeremiah Ecks, who doesn't want to think about who else owns Sonic Screwdrivers - River Song, anyone?

Incidentally, continuity problems caused by Lungbarrow... doesn't anybody realise that the Doctor is implied to be The Other. Not proven.
And the events witnessed in Lungbarrow may have happened, but not definitely did. Weren't they viewed by different people in visions or something? This proves very little. You take on base value that these things are true and are literal and not just vague interpretations.
There are a few continuity glitches with Romana and Leela and K-9, but in regards to the Doctor's genetics, or his 'Other-ness' or the like, no contradictions - you can literally view these things as... well, literal... or not, as you like.
-Jeremiah Ecks, who points out that Lungbarrow is an answer, not the answer and therefore by definition cannot rationally contradict anything else!
