The Adventures of Robin Hood
Ransom: Season 2, Episode 4. Good episode in which Robin gets the said ransom family back to the people. Funny on how the Sheriff's men lost their weapons at the end of the episode.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Goldmaker: Season 2, Episode 5. Introduction to Lepidus the said goldmaker. However Lepidus is actually a fraud but Robin certainly used his services in falsely making gold to get one of his men free from captive from the Sheriff. Pretty good in how the Sheriff was tricked in believing gold has been made and by a simplest of explanations.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Haunted Mill: Season 2, Episode 6. Robin and his band helped a miller. Good strategy in their plan to help the miller and Friar Tuck sure got rewarded at the end with a strawberry cake that he had been wanting all episode.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Imposters: Season 2, Episode 7. A very fun episode which sees three versions of the same man including the real article himself and Robin impersonating him. This was sure done to the utter embarrassment of LeBlonde in front of the Sheriff.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Hero: Season 2, Episode 8. The so-called hero is someone who takes false credit for killing the Sheriff's brother with people believing to be self-defence but the real killer killed him in cold blood. A good lesson in how to handle hero adulation because the fake hero's arrogance was what truly brought him down and allowed Robin to expose the real killer to the Sheriff before a certain deadline.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
Isabella: Season 2, Episode 9. The said Isabella is set to marry Prince John but the agreement of this marriage would see John ousting King Richard from the throne. Isabella was quite devious when she pulled a fast one on Robin. Robin ultimately prevents the marriage just by him proving to Isabella what a coward John is.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Black Patch: Season 2, Episode 10. The Black Patch is Sir Dunston. He called himself that because he wears such a patch on a vow that he does not take it off until he captures Robin Hood. A very good episode in which Marian as the principal character that carries this episode. Amazing how Marian got the Sheriff to become an unlikely and unwitting ally to rescue Robin from the Black Patch. Just as the Sheriff and Sir Dunston, Robin makes his escape. After all the best way to fight one's enemies is for them to fight themselves.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
Outlaw Money: Season 2, Episode 11. Guest star Sid James, Henry the minter who is on Robin's side. Thanks to Henry making money, Robin distributes this new money to the people but Friar Tuck gets arrested and placed on trial for counterfeit money. Impressive on Henry in disguise got Tuck out of this jam and the episode certainly demonstrate the value of money.

Today saw Robin Hood actor Richard Greene in The Little Princess (1939) and coincidentally shortly afterwards saw an episode of fellow ITC series The Adventures of Sir Lancelot which also had princess in its title that of The Missing Princess.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
Hubert: Season 2, Episode 12. Robin and his band help the said Hubert stop his love from an unwanted marriage. Funny what a hothead Hubert is and that Robin had to tie him up but still manage to look good to his love.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Trap: Season 2, Episode 13. A sheriff has sent a spy to infiltrate Robin's band in order to trick Robin's men to turn him over to the sheriff. Very good on Robin and his band turning the tables on the spy and the sheriff and what an explanation Robin gave on how he knew the spy was a spy.
At the same time as seeing this Robin Hood episode saw the similarly named penultimate The Lost World episode Trapped.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Friar's Pilgrimage: Season 2, Episode 14. Guest stars Patrick Troughton in the first of eight appearances in the series. Troughton was course TV's first Robin Hood but does not have any scenes with the Robin Hood here Richard Greene. Robin was accompanying Friar Tuck when they helped a maid accused of witchcraft. Fun the wager the friar played on the villain here Count Duprez in order to free both the maid and Robin who also got captured as well. Most certainly a fun pilgrimage to watch.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Blackbird: Season 2, Episode 15. Guest stars Patrick Troughton in the second of eight appearances in the series but no scenes with the Robin Hood of this series Richard Greene. Little John walks off in anger when he got captured by the sheriff's men and is set to be executed. However there is no executioner to perform this task and at first Little John seems to be in luck until an executioner has been found. Most certainly a surprise on who the executioner turned out to be which became pivotal in John escaping his executioner. Quite clever at that.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Dream: Season 2, Episode 16. Guest stars Patrick Troughton in the third of eight appearances in the series. Here he plays Marian's cousin Sir William and like Robin he has a fondness. The Troughton character here is the villain and unlike his previous two appearances does have screentime with the Robin Hood here Richard Greene. A good villainous turn by Troughton and very good how the band with Marian's help rescued Robin from Sir William.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Shell Game: Season 2, Episode 17. Guest stars Patrick Troughton in the fourth of eight appearances in the series. Here he plays Queen Eleanor's chaplain who asked Robin to do some stealing. So basically Troughton being a former Robin Hood asked the Robin Hood here Richard Greene to do something that he used to do himself! To do some stealing Robin enlists the aid of a confidence trickster despite Little John's reliability. Robin and the confidence trickster Pick makes for a good team and in the end Little John wasn't exactly 100% wrong about Pick.
