The penultimate episode of The Body Farm, You've Got Visitors provided a reunion with two Robin Hood (2006-09) alums with series regular Keith Allen (Sheriff of Nottingham) and guest star Jonas Armstrong (Robin Hood).
As DI Hale here, Allen is a man of the law just like he was in the said Robin Hood series and knowing the Robin Hood fact, the Armstrong character told Hale how to do his job, something Robin Hood would never tell the Sheriff of Nottingham to do as that was in no way in Robin's best interest.
Here Armstrong plays the son of a dead human rights lawyer (Tim McInnerny) and a human rights lawyer is kind of like a Robin Hood. So Armstrong got downgraded from Robin Hood to son of Robin Hood or a very good family resemblances of Robin Hoods.

The Adventures of Robin Hood: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventures_of_Robin_Hood_(TV_series)
This ran for four seasons between September 25 1955 March 1 1959.
This is the legendary series that starred Richard Greene as the title character.
The Coming of Robin Hood: Series opener. Good opener to the series with Robin of Locksley coming back to home to find that his land has been usurped from him. Pretty set-up of the series which eventually sees him joined the gang he known for. Coincidentally just as I began the series with this episode been seeing on DVD, Doctor Who's take on Robin Hood with Robot of Sherwood.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
Dead or Alive:
Season 1, Episode 3. Debut in the series by Archie Duncan as Little John. Not long before this series and in not long before I watched this episode I saw Duncan as another well known character that of Inspector Lestrade in the 1954-55 series of Sherlock Holmes. This has Robin and Little John meeting for the first time with their battle at the river. This particular meeting has been told many times in Robin Hood lore including in Doctor Who: Robot of Sherwood although that battle was at the river was between Robin Hood and the Doctor. Good introduction in this series of Little John and sincere performance of the character by Duncan.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
Maid Marian: Season 1, Episode 5. Marian finally makes her entrance in the series and was revealed to be childhood friends with Robin. Very enjoyable introduction of Marian in this series which had her becoming a spy for the Sheriff on Robin only for her to then become a spy for Robin on the sheriff.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Inquisitor: Season 1, Episode 6. Friar Tuck gets arrested and funny how Little John got a job in the castle as part of the plan to rescue Tuck. Funny when Little John was barber to Robin especially on the topic of ears. Quite a bold approach from Robin in telling the said inquisitor the truth.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Knight Who Came To Dinner: Season 1, Episode 7. The knight in question Sir Richard of the Lea owes a debt and quite fun how Tuck ultimately helped to pay off this debt. Also funny the punishment that Tuck and Little John got when they lent clothes to Sir Richard without Robin's permission.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
The Challenge: Season 1, Episode 8. This episode featured the well known tournament that Robin took part in. This episode becomes fun when Robin and his band are trapped in Sir Richard's castle as it is surrounded by the Sheriff and his men. It was funny when Robin and his band refused to leave the castle when Sir Richard found a way out for them and the trick he used to throw them out.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
Checkmate: Season 1, Episode 10. The episode title not only refers to a game of chess but a predicament that Marian found herself in. Good rescue of the boy at the Count's castle and quite funny what has happened to his guards at the end.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
A Guest for the Gallows: Season 1, Episode 12. Will Stutely (another name for Will Scarlet here) is introduced here as he is on the verge of being executed by the Sheriff for not paying taxes. Quite cunning the deception Robin gave to the Sheriff as part of the plan to rescue Will who then becomes part of Robin's band.
