A lovely idea to get all three Doctors together again, such a pity William Hartnell was unwell and couldn't be there for the whole story The gel guards are a bit of a blip on an other wise good record for the story. Omega results to shouting a bit but then again the character was meant to have been a bit deranged. 4/5

Good story. Fantastic idea getting all three Doctor's together. Thats set a trend through the series that every so often we can get reunions of a sort.

Enjoyable but overall not particularly brilliant, cheaply made.

Enjoyable but overall not particularly brilliant, cheaply made. Well, what do you expect? It is 1970's Doctor Who after all.

A great story with the Second and the Third Doctor fighting all the time and the First teasing them. On the other hand I didn't find Omega particularly impressive so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Overall average for a Pertwee story, which is to say good, and the reunion added to it makes it special. Does everyone realize that the trend now is to hate this one? On Outpost Gallifrey, anyway.
I love villains like this Omega; not the Davison era one. Booming voices, larger than life, but not cardboard villains because it's explained plausibly how they got that way. Great moment where they open his mask. That's some "will" he had.

This story has little padding and although some of the music and sets may be a bit tacky, Bob Baker and Dave Martin did a good job with the scripts. I especially liked the Second Doctor/Brigadier scenes though I think in places Jo got too many lines, but good stuff.

Too discouraging for me to want to study their reasoning too much. These things seem to be fashions. It's like... Everybody loves JNT, then they hate him, then love him again, every few years, that sort of thing.

5/5 from me!
Those bubble anti-matter aliens were a bit odd but appart from that I found this a most enjoyable story which I happily watch again and again!
I also enjoyed the Brigadier's role in this story.

It's an undeniable fact that every classic Doctor Who story has to have cheap effects of some kind. Here it's the gel guards as I call them.

2/5 - So, once we've gotten over the whole two Doctors together (and one on a screen) celebration thing, what's left? Very little that's any good.

Well, you could've given it less. So, there must be something you like about it.

Well, you could've given it less. So, there must be something you like about it. A valid point! I quite like the Brig's farcical denial of pretty much everything that happens in the story! And Troughton (my 2nd favourite Doctor), even though he's playing just one aspect of the character - the clowny tramp! I guess not having seen it at a young enough age has made me look upon the story more cynically...

5/5. It was the last time Troughton would give a stellar performance on Doctor Who.
