As enjoyable and well done as SERIES 3 of Torchwood was; it was a blantant rip-off of "The Quatermass Conclusion" right down to the reason for it all happening; drugs.

And honestly, if they'd done Torchwood like that from the very beginning; an adult SF show without all the sillyness, it probably would have done much better.

Still; it wraps the show up nicely if that's the end of it all.

***Check out the 4 part version of 'The Quatermass Conclusion. Quatermass even kills his Granddaughter at the end .....
