I thought we could have a thread to talk about the current issues of DWM as it reaches the shops every 4 weeks!

I have been collecting Doctor Who Magazine since #373 and I absolutely love getting this mag however as I live in Australia and don't subscribe it is usually 2 issues behind by the time it reaches our shelves :(

I'm not particularly a fan of the comic strip or the 'Fact of Fiction' or the newer section 'You Are Not Alone', but pretty much everything else I love reading.

Decent cover, not the best, but still decent!

Whereas I will have to wait another 2 weeks for #405, I'm really keen to read the Matt Smith Interview.

So what do others love about the magazine? How long have you been buying it for?

Finally got #405 and I loved the short but sweet interview with Matt Smith, shame it's still a long, long time till he reaches our screens. Haven't read much else of the magazine yet...

Fantastic cover, can't wait! It's due in shops in the UK on the 28th of May!

In the mean time, I got issue #406 with David's red nose on the Cover and it was a great issue, loved the article on Gareth Roberts and the Production notes were amusing as always!

This issue is due on shelves in the UK on June 25th. Fantastic cover, I can't wait to read the interview with Karen Gillan!

Does no one else buy Doctor Who Magazine or does no one else actually post on this forum?


I passed by a Sci-Fi/Fantasy bookstore yesterday, so I managed to pick up a copy of #408 and #409 a lot earlier than I usually would! Only browsed them so far, but they look like the usual goodness of DWM!

I only buy the magazine when my local Borders has it in stock and there's a CD or an article that deals with something of particular interest to me over every other issue, so not very often. If the price could be under AU$10 I might buy it more, but then it would be a less worthy magazine.

So am I, but I have this thing where I like to have a bit of money! Having said that, I may buy this issue, depending on what the audio download is and whether I manage to find any worthwhile info before then about Tom's far from inevitable return to the role.
